Mammoth  &  Mammoth Tusk

Mammoths live around the Quaternary ice age (2.6 million years ago - present) and   extinct 10,000 to 1 million years ago. They had thick subcutaneous fat to protect against the cold, so they could survive in Asia, Europe,   northern part of North America, northeastern part of China and even the tundra regions. Because they have long hair, they are known as “long haired elephants”. And the scientific name "Mammuthus primigeniues", which means    “underground inhabitants” in the Tartar language.

 

An adult mammoth can grow up to 5 meters long, 3 meters tall, with stout legs and a large head, and has a pair of an “S”-shaped curved tusks   on the huge body, known as mammoth tusks. Mammoth Tusks  not only helps Mammoth    to fight against the enemy, but also can pulls out grass plants inside the ice and snow as their food. With climate change and hunted by primitive human, mammoths eventually failed to escape the laws of survival of the fittest, and eventually the entire species became extinct.
